Going into my junior year at Geneva High School, I will also be continuing my second year with the GTV program- this time with the title of News Director. So far I have been to one STN convention where I competed in the Crazy 8's and Live Reporting contests. Faced with tough competition, I have yet to place. Hoping to change that at next year's convention, I am devoted to making sure the team, as well as myself, bring our best efforts to the table. Not only am I involved in GTV but my free time consists of basketball practices and games, working at a local pizzeria and hanging out with friends. With junior year being crucial for high schoolers planning on attending college, I plan to dedicate a lot of time on my schoolwork so I have the opportunity to continue studying broadcast journalism after high school.
